The NABET-CWA Network Negotiating Committee has reached an overall tentative agreement with NBC Universal on a new contract.

Following a ten (10) week recess, negotiations for a successor to the Master Agreement resumed last week in New York City.

Local 52 President, Gil Maestas has accepted and been sworn in as the Interim Region Six Vice President. He will serve out the remaining time that was previously held by Bill Wachenswantz.

Gil was sworn into office on Dec 12, 2018 by Charlie Braico, President of NABET-CWA. Gil's term will run until June 30th, 2019. He will then determine if he will run again for the next term.
